I am going to be out around the River North (approx. Clark/Erie)area with some friends and was wondering if anyone knew of a good byo fairly nearby to get dinner at before. I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

I'm not familiar with any BYO's in River North, but would recommend a few in Bucktown/Wicker Park! It would probably be about a 10 dollar cab ride, but since you're saving $$ on the cocktails, why not?!? Coast on Damen/Armitage offers great sushi and BYO. If you're not into sushi and you're looking for American Contemporary, check out Lovitt(1466 N Ashland). You'll need reservations as the space is tiny, but its a great intimate setting to enjoy friends, great food, and BYO.

Enjoy!
