Corned beef
Yesterday I had one the the best corned beef sandwiches I have ever had. 2-3" of warm corned beef. Just a little fat. Mustard on rye. Dr Brown's black cherry soda and a dill spear on the side. Comes with a bag of Jays too. Just $5.50. It was near perfection. Took care of my corned beef Jones...for a while...
Where?
N.Y. Bagels and Bialy's. Dempster west of Greenwood. Behind Portillos in the strip mall. Sorry I don't have the exact address.

I concur, very good sandwich. And they have black and white cookies.

The best pastrami in Chicago and only true pastrasmi that is NY style is Manny's deli in Chicago. Corned beef is also pretty good.`

Can you clarify that location please? I go to the NYB&B on Dempster all the time and I do not believe that they offer corned beef sandwiches, but rather are simply a bakery. I could be wrong, I guess.
Perhaps it was NYB&B one on Touhy? Or are you thinking of Kaufman's Deli on Dempster? They make a nice corned beef sandwich.

Just W of Greenwood on Dempster in Niles. In the same strip mall as Home Depot and Jewel. Kaufmann's is better IMHO, but this is closer for me.

My personal favorite is Romanian Kosher Sausage at Touhy and Clark - they make their own deli meats - their corned beef is out of this world - sandwiches are not bad either - last time i was there 4.95 for corned beef on rye -
