Rockford, IL food?

Coming into Rockford, IL for work later this week and want to take a few people out for dinner, but want to hit a place that is a good chowhound spot.

Any kind of cuisine.

I don't know that I'd recommend El Burrito Loco to someone as Rockford's top-notch Mexican. It's good at 2 in the morning, but it's not exactly great. El Molcajete in Belvidere, Los Portales near State and 3rd and many of the places in the South Main area are better.

I'd recommend 5 Forks and Cru before anything else, I think.
