        <content>For anyone interested in or following this little neighborhood drama, I got this email from the alderman's office:
 
There was a status hearing on Big Chicks this morning.  The case was continued pending motions to be filed by Michelle Fire's attorney.  The next hearing will be March 2 at 9:30 a.m.  This hearing will most likely be a discussion of the motions filed and requests for discovery.  If there is further information that something of substance will happen, I will send that information out when it is available

      <content>I've already forgotten the specifics, but there seemed to be a threat to the business altogether. Zoning, the fact that they have a garden area in back, possibly a liquor issue as well - somehow, the whole enterprise was/is in danger.</content>
