Rice Milk
I have been to many Chicago Mexican restaurants. What I have noticed is they usually have rice milk? Has anyone ever had rice milk? Is it any good?

Kad,
Rice milk, or horchata, is an excellent accompaniment to Mexican food. It's cool and sweet, with hints of vanilla, cinnamon, and almonds. I had a cup on Maxwell St. this morning.

I heartily concur. Refreshing and delicious. All good by itself too.

Horchata is the only thing I go to Los Comales for.

I've only had the health food version from Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, etc. It is in similar boxes as soy milk, and is very good. Would like to try it at a Mexican restaurant too.
