Sonja,

Sorry, I have been out of town for two weeks. I hope to get there September 14th. (Brave Combo is playing in town--a great combination.) Brave Combo is to music what Pulp Fiction is to movies. Best wishes, Leper

Sonja,
Brave Combo is a Grammy award winning band from Denton, Texas. Their focus is "Nuclear Polka"--the ability to find a Polka beat in ANY song. (The Doors'
"People Are Strange" Polka for example. They also do a fine rendition of Jimmi Hendrix' Purple Haze Polka.)
I know this concept sounds weird; however, when your there--in the moment--the madness seems entirely reasonable.
Brave Combo has many terrific CD's. I suggest "Kick Ass Polkas" as a good intro.
