ate there saturday night probably because of the fan fare it has recieved on tv and in the papers. started the meal with appetizers such as the pekin duck rolls, the shrimp satay and the salad with pears in it. the duck rolls were not even average. they had very little if no taste. shrimp was fine but not anything special. the salad was fresh tasting but was lacking in flavor. at this point the best part of the meal was the rice cakes and peanut sauce that was put on the table. for dinner i had the ny strip in a peppercorn sauce with noodles. it was very tasty but i needed to send it back because it was not really hot enough, but aside from this it was very good. my wife had the filet and said it was great and would get it again. our friend had a shrimp dish with noodles. he said it was fair but he wasn't really expecting much because he is a fan of less expensive thai style restaurants. all in all it was a good experience but i dont know if this will survive either. i will try it again, maybe, but if i want trendy oriental food i'd go to ben pao. any feedback?
