SCALA'S ITALIAN BEEF-WHERE IS THE BEEF?
- FRANK Nov 19, 2001 10:15 PM
CAN SOMEBODY TELL ME WHY DOESN'T THE SCALA'S BEEF PEOPLE DO NOT HAVE A WEBSITE? I'M TRYING TO GET IN TOUCH WITH THEM TO SEE IF I CAN GET HELP ON SENDING THEIR PRODUCT FOR MY SANDWICH SHOP HERE IN FLORIDA!
Probably because Pat (the owner) is not up on computers so forget about it. (say it with the accent) So just call them. I am not sure if they have a license to ship out of state. I used to work there and it was great food but a very primitive atmosphere.
please tell me where i can purchase scala's in phoenix az area for home and personal consumption or a sandwich shop that sells sandwiches
re: Teri Johnson
sysco also carries fontanini....they both have websites:http://www.scalasbeef.com/,http://www... none have a wholesale store....sysco is the best bet...I believe the fontanini code is 9111,if you have a friend in the business he can get you the sysco #. I order from them regularly and the price is reasonable( about $50 for 12lbs. of beef and 3lbs of juice).
Good luck fellow beef lovers!
