I will be in Naperville at the end of the October and I need suggestions for a chowish spot for dinner. A good beer list is a must.

Suggestions for breakfast would be helpful as well.

It's hard to think of a good breakfast place in Naperville that has an extensive beer list.

I've never been there but I hear the Wurst Kitchen is good.

Red Door Tavern in downtown Naperville is good. Good bar food and a few unique beer selections on draft.

(Totally unrelated, but I just found out that Bell's Brewery is pulling their stuff out of the Chicago market. Sigh.)

I'm not trying to be nitpicky, but I think it's strange that you would revive a 2001 post to write a two sentence comment about Red Door Tavern (decent beer selection, so-so food, IMO). That said, I'm surprised to learn that Bell's is pulling their stuff out of the Chicago market. Presumably this means they will be pulling Bell's Amber, Oberon, etc., from store shelves(?) Any idea why?

I have heard that Bell's local distributer is being absorbed by a much larger company, and the people at Bell's prefer to do business with smaller, more personal companies. So, instead of dealing with the headaches, they've decided not to deal with it at all. I will really miss the Oberon in the summer.

Wow, I'm bummed about the Bell's news. We fly in every year (twice) to spend time in
my hometown (Naperville) to see my mom and one of our big activities is to go to
Binny's and stock up the shopping cart including said Bell's. And you're right RMA
funny this thread is so old! Looking forward to next week to eat my way around and
          through Naperville!

It's sad news indeed. I found this article about Bell's pulling out of Illinois (you may have to cut and paste the link into your browser). You may be in luck, though, and still be able to find some Bell's at the Naperville Binny's (the last of the last shipment).
