Does anyone know a good Malaysian restaurant in Chicago? If not, how about a decent one?

  1. Can't recommend a great one but here's a decent one:

Penang in chinatown, I think it is an outpost of a new york place and has non-malay food as well (sushi). I went there a couple summers ago on a really, really, hot day and they ran out of ice and air conditioning so the experience wasn't all that pleasant - food was pretty decent though Roti Canai was pretty good. I'm attaching a link to the metromix page on it.
