Of the three choices--Le Francais with Roland and Mary Beth Liccioni; Le Francais with Jean Banchet and Les Nomades with Roland and Mary Beth Liccioni--I would take Le Francais with the Liccionis in a heartbeat. Banchet's restaurant could be any of 30 or 40 places on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. The Liccionis' food seems a little creakier at Les Nomades than it did at Le Francais, but I still like it a lot. And you don't have to schlep to Wheeling.
