I will be going to Guu for the first time. Is there a difference between the 3 Guus? Also, which is better Gyoza King or Guu?
I have been to Hapa, Yoshi's and Shiro Bay so far and like Yoshi's the best.

Guu w/ Garilc is by far the best - my reasons for this, clean, fresh and great service. The food is outstanding. And the atmmosphere is fun. For a mellower dinner the Guu in Gastown is good - totally different menu and much more realzing (not loud at all) Guu on Thurlow (the 1st Guu) thier food is just as good as the other 2, however the place is a dump (filthy) and ther service is horrible. So in order I would go:

(1) Guu w/ Garlic
(2) Gyoza King
(3) Guu in Gas Town
(4) Guu on Thurlow

Let me know if you have nay other questions - ENJOY!

The Guu in Gastown, however, has a fantastic exotic cocktail menu which is worth exploring. I tend to frequent that location more than the others, however, it's mostly because I tend to go with a large group of people, and it's really the only Guu that can handle large groups on short notice.

I agree - the drink menu at the gas Town location is FUN. As well if you are a group larger then 4-5 then Gas Town is where you will want to go as they have the room to accomidate.
