Looking for chow friendly restaurants, cheese, butcher or food stores in St Jovite, St Adele, St Agathe and the Village of Tremblant. I'd like to make a bit of a culinary tour of the area.

I've tried and I'm not interested in any of the Intra West Restaurants at Mount Tremblant.

Any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated.

You might want to try the Montreal site too as Montrealers may head up to the Laurentian sites you have mentioned

Thanks for the tip. I did post on the Montreal Board but no responses. Montreal board pretty lame - does not seem as active as TO or Canada Boards!

Unfortunately all the previous posts for the area seem to focus on Tremblant Village which is not my cup of tea!

Have you ever heard or been to Bourassa's in St Saveur?

Sorry Timpano, when I lived in Montreal we generally headed southeast toward the eastern townships [Estrie] rather north to the Laurentians.

Although I have spent parts of various summers in Ste. Agathe, St. Donat and the like that was too long ago and not when the ski resorts were in season.

Good luck
