Hi this may be a little late for you, but just got back from NS and had one faboo lobster at Halls. While the lovster was excellent, it killed me that they charged you for melted buter-which the lobster was so sweet I didnt actually need. They have quite a system there-go to gift shop and get up close and personal with your crustacean. Then you go to the eatery across the way, but since your in the gift shop anyway.... When we were there 2 weeks ago they said they were closing soon. There isnt much in Halls harbor and the day we were there was the one crappy day of a 3 and a half week so we didnt even drive around and check out the surrounds. One little thing, not far from there is the Minas River-I think that's what it's called, and the have the tidal bores there which I later heard where a fantastic thing to see-or is it sea. Anyhow, if I were to return again, would def take the time to see the tide there at high tide.

We just got back from a trip up the Maine coast, over to Nova Scotia through NB. We ate lobster the whole way and stopped after Halls Harbor as it was without a doubt the best lobster we had the entire trip. Our group all agreed that we wouldn't eat any more lobster during the trip as we would finish with the best. Nearly six years after the above post, nothing has changed... a delightful place to visit and fabulous meal.
