Funny, my cell phone rang when I was reading the menu, it was Chambar returning my call. They are not open yet but will be opening some time next week. He told me to check their voice mail as it will be updated with the latest news.

Menu is looking very interesting. As a Dutchman, seeing a good selection of Belgian beers makes me very, very happy!

I live in Tucson, Arizona and enjoyed my first Vancouver visit in May, 2005. I can honestly say I didn't have a bad meal, but by far the most incredible dish was Chambar's mussels with tomato, chili, cumin seed and coconut milk. I've never had mussels that good -- not even in Sicily along the Mediterranean! If anyone knows how I can contact someone to get the recipe, I would be grateful. I tried to duplicate it last night for a dinner party; they were good, but paled by comparison!

Thanks!
