Has anyone visited there lately. I'm thinking about flying into Burlington, VT to visit VT, then drive up to Auberge Hatley a night or two and then over to
Hostellerie Les Trois Tilleuis and Spa at St-Marc-Sur-/Richelieu, QC. Anyone made this trip or visited these spots lately. Thanks.

Thumbs up on Auberge Hatley. The inn is lovely, the kitchen is wonderful. Allow them to suggest whatever is fresh that night. We live about 40 minutes south and go as often as possible. It's worth the trip.

If you go to these places, dont rush around - make sure to relax and enjoy - there is nothing much nicer than a leisurely 2-3 hr lunch at the Auberge Hatley - or slowly touring Charlevoix, as another poster rightly suggested. those Canadian superhighways go through the flats and are not very interesting.

think about the time of year - fall comes early in Eastern Canada - Probably you will have the trees coloring up in late September - on the other hand, near Montreal as in the Richelieu Valley, the warm season lingers longer.
