Allow them to suggest whatever is fresh that night. We live about 40 minutes south and go as often as possible. It's worth the trip. Mon Jul 14 18:14:07 -0700 2003 580808 0 Steve 1 580825 If you go to these places, dont rush around - make sure to relax and enjoy - there is nothing much nicer than a leisurely 2-3 hr lunch at the Auberge Hatley - or slowly touring Charlevoix, as another poster rightly suggested. those Canadian superhighways go through the flats and are not very interesting. think about the time of year - fall comes early in Eastern Canada - Probably you will have the trees coloring up in late September - on the other hand, near Montreal as in the Richelieu Valley, the warm season lingers longer.
