I used to go to Toronto regularly, and one of my favorite places was a funky little joint called The Groaning Board, over near Spadina. Havene't been to the city in several years. Can anyone tell me if this place is still around?

Whoa dude, I haven't heard that name in at least ten years! I don't know what you're looking for, but perhaps you might like Hugh's Room, a folk club/restaurant on Dundas West (link below). The Free Times Cafe on College is another option.

When I saw the subject line of this post, I thought it was directed at the sounds made by the Canadian Chowhound Board in its death throes. Are there no Vancouver Chowhounds? You'd think with the quality and variety of Vancouver restaurants, there'd be more to talk about.
