We are traveling from Bellingham up the coast to Pender Harbor. Love to hear your ideas about the best places to eat, spots to see and marina's to stay on the way up. Two children (5&6) aboard too. Thank you! Laura

I just returned from Princess Louisa on a sailboat. There are three suggestions that I would share with you from my trip. I took my crew to Granville Island to shop at the public market. Great Stuff! We picked up some rather exotic items for a green Thai curry. We even found fresh lime leaves! We enjoyed the meal at Chatterbox Falls. Anyway, stop at the market. You will enjoy it and the kids will too. Just at the entrance to the market is the Pacific Culinary Institute. They serve the public at lunch and dinner. They do a three-course meal with options. Pricing is nice. I particularly enjoyed their presentations. In a completely different area of the dining arena, we also went to the "Legion" in Madeira Park (Pender Harbour). It is about a block and a half from the government dock. We had our burger fix for the trip there. The place was neither loud nor smoky. While there, we took advantage of the entertainment factor of free darts and pool. Have a good cruise!
