Late Late Night Eats - Toronto

Hello:
Looks like we'll be driving up to TO from NYC, and would be getting in pretty late... Although my husband is from there, he is clueless to late night eats in TO. We know liquor is only served until 2AM, but how about food? Anything YUMMY other than your standard 24 hour Asian fare on Spadina? Anything other than Cafe 7??

Please help!
Thanks!

    Greetings,
C'est what on 67 Front is open til 2 a.m. There are a number of restaurants ( many Greek) on Danforth between Broadview and Pape open very late. However, I recommend, after an all night road trip, wheel in to Fran's on St. Clair, just west of Younge.
    cordially, D.T.

C'est What... are you kidding? Okay I guess if you don't have expectatiopns beyond potato skins it'll do, eh?
No no no... if you want late night eats in Toronto I have only 2 words: The Danforth (a street loaded with fantastic Greek and partying all night. If you don't like Greek go to China Town (Dundas & Spadina area) and have some awesome Chinese... if you hit the right spot (almost everywhere) they'll serve beer in tea pots after hours so you can drink all night too!

Since, you are doing so much driving, keep on heading up the DVP to Hwy 7 and you'll find a whole world of late night food open until 5 am.

Also, 7west, at Yonge and Charles is open 24/7. They are wonderful place to sit back and enjoy some coffee and food.

Owl of Minerva is open 24/7, On Bloor, east of Christie. Serve Korean Stews.

Sushi: New generation and sushi on bloor areo pen until 2-3am every morning.

Korean Grillhouse: all yuo can eat korean barbecue open until 3-4 am on fri and sat

That's all the places I can name off the top of my head.

I would like to add my new and favourite late night spot: King Palace at Richmond & Sherbourne. In fact, this place is great any time of day.

Topnotch Pakistani/Indian food. Really incredibly good. Worth going way out of your way for.

Shanghai Cowgirl (http://bovineclub.com/shanghaicowgirl/) is a normal diner with some Asian flair. The typical burgers, sandwiches, but an oddly captivating shanghai noodles option too. The menu has something for most everyone: perogies, sweet potato fries, etc.

Open to 2AM Thurs to Sun (I think).

I went down there for a late night dinner at around 12:30 a.m, I guess that would be mean an early breakfast huh? I ordered the grilled cheese with havarti, jalapeno's and avocado, it was unbelievably good!! It is open until to 1 a.m most nights I believe. Going back for sure to try the blue cheese and peameal bacon grilled cheese, sounds risky but might be real good.
