Try Pasta Mia in the south market lower level opposite the Stone Mill Bakery.

Can be fairly busy on Saturday mornings but they do a good latte - and have a few tables if you want to watch the hustle n' bustle.

The coffee place in the basement, North/west end next to the Chinese take out place makes my favourite latte in the city. Take out only.

I know it's sort of a chain, but the Lettieri cafe just outside the Market on the south side of Front (near the LCBO, sandwiched between a Starbucks and a Tim Hortons, if you can believe it) makes a consistently great latte.

The woman who works day shifts during the week remembered my order after the *second* time I visited and has every time since without flaw, so needless to say the service is very friendly. It's also a bit of a relaxed place, and definitely less chaotic than trying to drink coffee in the madness of the Saturday morning market.

A small latte is actually fairly large and I think it's $3. Medium is slightly more.
