Three of us went last night, and we loved this place. The food is among the best Thai we've had in Toronto, the portions are large, and the prices are low. We tried the spring rolls and the mango salad, then traditional pad thai, red beef curry, and stir-fried eggplant. Food good, service good, with beer and tax total bill $63.
Thanks for the recommendation.

Love this place. Try the Stir-fried Eggplant, Glass Noodles, any of the curry's, green mango salad, kalbi ribs, etc etc etc.
Add the fact that the restaurant itself is gorgeous and trust me, you'll love it.
FYI, the Pad Thai tastes different from cheap Thai delivery places because they don't use ketchup as a base like most places...instead choosing to make the sauce from scratch. Spent several months in Thailand and this is as close as you're going to get in Toronto to authentic. Kim and Moo (chef's) are straight from Thailand and do an amazing job.

Xaphire serves Thai food and is generally delicious. Prices are moderate, I think between 10-15 for entrees. I really enjoy their panang curry.

On two occasions now, I've had horrible pad thai at Xaphire (one time even worse than the other...so much so that it was entirely inedible) -- it was incredibly sweet, tasting bizarrely like apple juice... Prior to those two occasions, it was better, but never great IMHO. Having said that, I enjoy a lot of things there. I like the curries and the spicy beef. Will never order the pad thai again though.
