re: bunnylicious
sabor a mexico (jane st., east side, just south of annette). the owner, faviola, owned a restaurant in san jose for ten years then decided to head north. very bare bones inside but decicious food. camp restaurant (jane and lessard) is dishwater dull and the colombian place (el arrieros) is very average.
amber is just too expensive now. i prefer the pork schnitzel on a bun at astra deli for $2.50, to go. people say that asa sushi (jane st. just north of bloor, west side) is good but i do not trust any place that has christmas decorations still up in june. i find the falafels at falafel world always dry. kingsway grill cooks a banquet burger that cant be beat. i cant think of anything else.

A few of my fav. places:
- Brydens @ Jane and Bloor. Good pub with tasty maple whiskey wings and sweet potatoe fries
- The Grillway @ Runnymeade and Annette- small mom/pop diner place. Great for pizza or subs.
- Amber on Bloor West, just east of Jane- Good cabbage rolls and goulash.›1 Reply
