I don't eat seafood/sushi, so I had never sought any Japanese restaurants in Toronto other than the steakhouses with the grill in the middle of the table. From this board, I've seen recommendations for Izakaya on Church (not good apparently) and at Sakawaya on Danforth (quite good apparently). Surely in this cultural melting pot there must be more? I feel sorry for anyone who things this is in any way authentic or tasty. You could go to almost any other Japanese restaurant and find better noodles.
