Couvron in Portland

Hey y'all.
Curious to hear any thoughts on Couvron in Portland. I am Seattle based, but have been hearing about the food scene there and this name has come up a couple of times. From the website, the whole experience sounds right up my alley. Is it worth the trip/price?

    I ate there for the WW restaurant guide a couple of years back and thought it was very good, but a little too precious. They serve a fixed price menu and it can be quite expensive with a bottle of wine thrown in.

    For my money, Genoa is a better bet.. Also fixed price (currently about $70) but more interesting food (to my mind, anyway). The kitchen is set up without an exec or sous chef...all of the cooks are simply called "chef" and rotate responsibility for the menu every two weeks.

    I listed a few other great spots in a post about Portland a couple of weeks ago, and I think we have food worthy of a drive down I-5.

    A couple of them, Wildwood and Cafe Azul, made the 50 best American restaurants list in the new Gourmet.
