<content>Toronto has a large number of restaurant lounges that serve excellent food. Earlier in the eveneing they are more restaurant then as the evening progresses they turn more into bar / lounges. Some top ones that pop into my mind are:

The Drake Hotel - L ways west of the downtown core but a great patio and people wating place,

Ultra in the heart of the entertainment district queen &amp; john agian great patio and close to night life,

Li'ly in Little Italy on College street great food and you can stroll along College and hit a bunch of bars and cafes after dinner,

Laide corner of Adelaide &amp; Jarvis near St Lawrence market, distillery district etc. small place but excellent food and genually freindly people.

      <content>Generally in the downtown area:
Indian: Trimurti (Queen west of University)
Thai: Linda&#8217;s (upstairs at Salad King; Gould near Yonge)
Bistro: Le Paradis &#8211; Bedford @ Davenport
Vietnamese: Pho Hung (Chinatown or Bloor)
Ribs: NONE &#8211; even the best in Toronto are poor!
Grazing/Bars/small restaurants &#8211; College St west of Bathurst or Queen west of Bathurst
Noisy/trendy: George or Lee (both are multiple appetizer/small dish places)
