Pazzia

Has anyone heard about a restaurant on The Queensway between Islington and Royal York called Pazzia. Can you let me know what you think of it

Pazzia is an excellent little restaurant. Very gracious, friendly service. Terrific food. Yes, the wine list is limited, but a large selection in a small place is generally a bad idea. As long as it's well selected (check) then it's okay. The complaint that it's next to a XXX place leaves out the fact that it's also a coupla doors away from Sushi Kaji. Good company I'd say. I would have found it difficult to feel like I'm in a closet given the large front window. P.S. If you don't want slow food, don't eat Italian.

This was my father's favorite restaurant bar none. The level of service, the kindness, the little things they would do were never lost on my father and our family. I can't comment on the slowness aspect, i've never experienced this at all in our many visits. The food, of course is excellent, would we go there so much?

i really don't get it. Other than the price, there are way too many better italian restos. I feel like i'm eating in a closet at this place - service was slow and it's next door to an XXX movie joint - not exactly my first choice.

It is great BUT service is quite slow sometimes...these guys work hard there though...their Portabella Pizza is THE best in the city .... and I've eaten everywhere....wine list very limited...owner is a great guy.....

I believe the name of the restaurant is Piazza, and it is excellent. I wrote about a wonderful dinner I had there and posted it on this site 11/11/04.
