SO I tried this place out tonight after reading about it on this message board. What a very nice experience!

Recently I had watched a Food TV show where a guy from France was making crepes on the big round skillet thing and they looked really good. Same thing was in practice at the restaurant tonight.

I tried Le Parisienne (Classique) which had egg, swiss, mushrooms, red onion and dill. It was very nice - so simple yet very yummy and satisfying.

Cheers!

Went there a couple of weeks ago and had the Nicoise without the hard-boiled egg - excellent. I forget the name of the other crepes a friend and I had - one had tomato, basil and mozzerella, the other nutella and raspberry jam.

When you get off at the St. George TTC, head for Bedford St. exit and it's right on the corner of Bloor & Bedford.

I can't stress how enjoyable it was even though it seemed to be such straightforward food. Basics hmm? Enjoy!

A student of mine arrived at class a couple of weeks ago absolutely over the moon about this little place on Bedford. What could be better than a chow-happy student about to sit down and focus on education for two hours? Nothing---except maybe a great glass of wine for the teacher at the end of such an interlude:) She glowed, she said it was tasty, reasonable and welcoming. It reminded me of the terrific crepes-to-go joint in NYC's Village. Sometimes, when not in the mood for a crepe, I just enjoy watching all the hungry NYU students lining up for a handful of crepe-magic. This is an especially pleasing sight in Springtime and okay, the only reason I don't rush in and indulge in a take-away crepe of my own usually has to do with the exquisite mozzarella sandwich I tend to devour in what's left of Little Italy...
I'm going to take my student's advice and venture in. Sounds like the propietor has what it takes: staying power. That is not a cheap area to attempt a hole-in-the-wall business, especially with a Mr Sub chain-venue next door.
Thanks for the menu tip! Yours sounded so good....

I was in Toronto this weekend visiting a friend at Trinity, and for lunch we ate at Crepes a Go Go. What a find! It's a very small place, so you can watch your crepe being made. The server was very friendly, and the owner/hostess was very attentive and friendly too. Oh yes, the crepes themselved were fantastic.
