Szmania's serves a mean lobster chowder with roasted leeks and tarragon.

Ray's Boathouse offers my favorite clam chowder.

I really like Duke's Chowder House's dungeness crab with bourbon. Nicely flavored and rich. I haven't found traditional NE clam chowder in Seattle that I like as much as stuff I've had at a few places on Nantucket, though, so I'm still searching.

I've had some very good chowder at Wally's in Des Moines near the waterfront. It's a great little spot that serves fish and chips mostly.

Oh Yeah!! You have good taste. Put a little tabasco sauce in that soup and that's about as close to heaven as you can get.
