I think the store brand diet root beer was from A&P or Dominion. Wed Nov 17 13:36:01 -0800 2004 548793 0 Piper 3 549198 I could never find Diet Barq's in 2 liter bottles, so about a year ago asked the pop delivery guy at my local grocery store (here in Waterloo ON) for the number of the local bottling company, which is in Toronto. They said they had stopped bottling Diet Barq's completely because of lack of demand... and indeed, I haven't seen it since. It's a real pity because Diet Barq's root beer is very good. I don't know why it's so difficult to find diet pop in 2-liter plastic bottles. Other than the big sellers (Coke etc), it barely exists in Ontario. You'd think that with all the people on Atkins they'd offer more options for diet pop.
