has anyone here gone to the culinary school at george brown school? They offer students the ability to work in a commerical resterraunt setting.

In the past I have gone to the Montreal and charlettown versions and found the food very good good, service is beyond compare, and the prices are resonable as well

just wondering

  1. I'm a graduate of the Liaison College Downtown campus - a great program. I've worked with guys who have said that they wished that they had went to Liaison instead of George Brown. You should check them out too.

    1. Are you referring to the Culinary school or the restaurant they run (Siegfried's)?

that would be siegfried's. you could probably find some reviews of it on this list, I know I posted one ages ago. generally the food is solid, although you can tell what students are still learning by some of the not-quite-there executions. Both lunch and menu are prix fix with some choices. Can't remember the prices, but found lunch to be a better deal.

I like it there, although the atmosphere and decor are slightly institutional. But it's worth seeing the students try their best and participating in their learning experience. The place is very popular so you may have to wait a bit for a reservation.
