Going at end of August with 2 teens (13 & 15). Looking for a fun place to eat dinner on College St/Little Italy. Pasta/pizza for them, something a bit better for husband and I. Kalendar sounds great but not for the kids. Thanks!

  1. Here are two restaurants I like:

    Giovanna Trattoria
    637 College, Toronto (416) 538-2098

    La Forchetta
    613 College St., 416-534-3100

and then I would get some gelatto or coffee at the

    Sicilian Sidewalk Cafe
    712 College, Toronto (416) 531-7755

Stay away from all the restaurants on the street corners (Diplomatico, Standard Club, and Capitol). They are good for people watching but not for food.

    1. try utopia, pretty cheap and the food is good.

or tavola calda? i think that's what it's called. italian on the south side of college west of clinton i believe. lots of reviews online, now magazine loves them. also cheap.
