We're visiting from Vancouver and will be taking our three boys (all under the age of nine)to see Hairspray next weekend. Is there a kid-friendly restaurant nearby (and not the Old Spaghetti Factory which we also have in Vancouver)?

  1. How about Papa Leoni's which is an Italian, family-style restaurant on Peter Street?

It's not high cuisine but the place suits families.

Thanks, Viola, for the great suggestion. Our 14-member family group (including 4 kids ranging from 5 mos. to 8 years old) had a great time--and a great meal--on Saturday, July 24, at Leoni's Italian Kitchen on Blue Jays Way. We were the first ones there, but by 6:30 p.m. it was packed so be sure to make a reservation.
