popcorn

I was just reading thru the posts and someone mentioned the Guild 45 cinema house. Do they still have the best popcorn in town? I often select movies by where the best popcorn is. I used to live in Seattle, but it's been several years.

The Guild 45th's popcorn appears to have been dusted with that fake-yellow powder - yuck - and reminds me of styrofoam lubricated with butter flavor oil. That may be overstating it a bit. I just prefer the Grand Illusion theater's popcorn. Its real, fresh popped corn, seasoned with peanut oil and a whole basket of different spices for the adventurous. The Little Theater on Capitol Hill has nearly as good popcorn, although it is sometimes overdone.
