Best Sangria and Tapas in Toronto?

Any suggestions?

  1. I agree with the above message, indeed, Senhor Antonio - the tapas bar attached to Chiado - is one of my favourite restaurants in Toronto. I don't think they have sangria, but they do have an extensive wine list (it's mostly Portugese, so you may have to ask for help, as I did, but the staff are VERY accommodating)that matches extraordinarily well with the tidbits they have on offer.
Warning: as with this style of dining anywhere outside of Spain and Portugal, it can seem cheap but end up expensive (on one occasion 2 of us spent over $300 there in one evening.....but then we do have a propensity for drinking "the good stuff".......;-)
but you can make it far cheaper.....
    enjoy!

thanks! i was actually thinking of checking Chiado out before you even mentioned it.

      i definitely will now.

    2. Torito, in the Kensington market area is very good indeed, but they don't take reservations.
