Ruby Restaurant (in Scarborough).
however watch out, sometimes they don't have peking duck that night and they try to trick you with regular bbq duck. i had that happen to me once. but if they give you the real thing, then it's awesome. you may have to call first to check if they have real peking duck that evening.
re: Frances in Toronto
Peking duck ... hmmmmmm....
I've found it very true of many restaurants that they just serve bbq duck instead of the real deal.
Haven't had peking duck in a while but there's a restaurant on the SE corner of McNichol and Victoria Park that's good - reservations suggested. I can't remember the name but maybe someone else here can.
If I remember right Peking Man at Leslie and Sheppard is pretty good too.
Champion House, 480 Dundas West. They announce every one with a gong as they trundle them out in their golden glory.
