Anybody eaten at Dragon Dynasty? I saw this place at Brimley in Scarboro that looks like many Chinese were going in. Guess it must be good ...

  1. This place is very popular for its Dim Sum, especially on weekends. Starts at 10am or so....if you get there around 1130am, be prepared to wait a looooong time.

I would say the quality is near the top. However, you do pay for it. Our bill is almost double compared to anywhere else we spend in Scarborough.

      yes, it's very good.

Weekends are busy but that's when they set up speical stalls with beef brisket in this lovely rich broth served with crispy onion pastries, plump seafood dumlpings.

Worth a try. Be prepared to wait long for a table.

    2. I find their dim sum is not as good as before (same for dinner). If that price, I would rather go to other places like the one at Kennedy/Hwy 7 and Leslie/Hwy 7. Of course, if you're not driving, then Dragon Dynasty would be better.

Wedding banquet back in Oct - food was above average IMO re: Chinese banquet food. Don't know about the regular food.

          1. Good food. I was a guest the first time and when I took my own newbies, I also found the bill a bit high. $70 for 4 at lunch is a lot! But it was a good entree for my dim sum virgins.

What's with the sales(wo)menship from the cart ladies??? They really 'pushed' the wares!

Does anyone know how to get into the inner circle for a table?
