Seeking Vietnamese Coffee Filters in Vic or Calgary

Hi Grayelf,

I know this was an older post from you but I'm looking for the vietnamese coffee filters you are mentioning. Is there a particular store that carries them on Kingsway? Is this in the Little Vietnam in Vancouver?

Where do you get the Trung Nguyen coffee from? I'm dying to replicate this drink at home myself.

Thanks,
Shopaholic!

Must go to "Bear Paw" in Jasper or the second location "The Other Paw". Great bread, sweets, and most important to me the jalapeno olive pizza pretzels and the various savory stuffed loafs like the Great Canadian, Meet the Greek, Italian Stalion etc.

And if your more in it for the sweets get a Raspberry White chocolate scone, or of course and original bear paw (like a less sticky cinnamon bun). The other paw has a really rich espresso square which is awesome too! Can't wait, going up there this weekend, will get my fix.

Oh, the vast majority of what I've purchased - the Neilsen Massey Vanilla in the pantry, the godiva chociste pearls... were all fine...there were however one or two occasions when I picked something up and thought 'what a deal' only to put it down because the chocolate had lost its sheen.

Unfortunately I will need to modify it a bit as I can't bring skyr into Ireland and I can't seem to find it here. But any recipe would help & I can start with that. Thanks and have fun!

We had lunch at China Marble Eton. Why is when other resturants are lowerin their prices, other places raise their prices? We had Brisket Chow Mein and Wonton Soup. The Brisket was really Lo Mein and The wonton soup had no noodles. In both cases, the dishes were very small and overpriced. We were still hungry when we left. Incidently they charged $2.00 more than their take out menu for the beef brisket Lo Mein. They charged $3 more for the soup that what was listed.

We won't be going back when there's other places to eat at.
